NEW Semester!!

Psalm 119:9-16

How can a young man keep his way pure?

By living according to your word.

    10 I seek you with all my heart;

do not let me stray from your commands.

11 I have hidden your word in my heart

that I might not sin against you.

    12 Praise be to you, O LORD ;

    teach me your decrees.

13 With my lips I recount

all the laws that come from your mouth.

14 I rejoice in following your statutes

as one rejoices in great riches.

15 I meditate on your precepts

    and consider your ways.

    16 I delight in your decrees;

I will not neglect your word.

*Hope all of your finals studies are coming well, and let's pray for each other so that we may finish strong and go home to our "wonderful"[hopefully] family and enjoy our break. Click here for the schedule for everyone.
*Sean just sent out emails for your "secret Jesus" .. thingi, so um, make sure you follow the rules and surprise the other person with your efforts^^.

Welcome Back!

Hopefully everyone had their good portion of the break and that you are ready to finish off the remaining 3 weeks. More updates coming up^*,

edit** Annoucements have been updated.

For those of you who don't know what Lock-In is...

It's an all-niter prayer time mainly for the upcoming finals but also for other important issues that you might be dealing with currently or just generally this semester. After large group, everyone gathers to another place, this semester it's at Urbana Assembly of God. At first we'll have a little fun with interactive games,  usually in teams of ur classmates; frosh vs. soph vs. jun vs. and so on. Afterwards we'll get some food[FOOD!!!] to get ready to listen to a blessing sermon., followed by a hardcore individual praying time--it doesn't have to be individual but it's really set aside for you to pray to God alone. Not to intimidate anyone but this usually goes from about 2am to 7am.

It's this upcoming friday after the large group so hope everyone can make it!

04'-05' ThanksGiving Dinner

^^Thanks to Linda, Jenny B, and Michelle [and supposedly Dave and anyone else I forgot or didn't know who helped-Please tell me if I did omit your name!], Turkey was fantastic, stuffing was incredible, corn was unbelievable, mashed potato was ... okay I ran out of synonyms. Anyway you get the idea.

***edit. Sorry John and Inj. They helped out too!

[Sorry if it looks like I'm stealing all the pictures, but just trying to represent the FP8^^]

FarPar 8's Delicious Turkey

Total "ownage" of the turkey by the girls. [this word was coined by some of the class guys I met the other day]

FarPar 8 Group Fotos

Wait... Where are "fob" girls?

It's official. FarPar 8 group fotos always have the funky look edition.

Individual Fotos[Dave and Sean]

Spiritually helping the girls by playing the gamecube(?).

Nothing better than to see a happy man's face on the Thanksgiving dinner nite^^. A perfect peace sign to end the entry^^.

Hey Everyone! This is the Fun Question Post!

What was the question?

   1) One thing you always wanted to try but [were too] scared to actually go through with

Sean Lee

1) Just get on a plane and go to Korea. Eat A LOT and then meet my
relatives and all the people I know there and eat with them again. And
then I would try to meet some actors and take pictures with them and try
to eat w/ them.

Thomas Cho
1) Road Trip. Scared to ask my parents. I ain't no mama's boy though.

Jenny Kim
1) Just hearing P. John Teter's stories. I realize I never shared my
faith with others. (Other than my Christian friends) I would like to
share my faith w/ people soon.

Robert Yu
1) Bungee jump or sky dive

Eddie Lee
1) Trick-or-Treat on Bradley

Su-jin
1) Make boyfriend say "I love you"

Jenny Bae
1) Go to a salsa club. Seems like a lot of fun, but could never find
people to go with.

Linda Lee
1) Ditch a whole day of class

David Yuh
1) Go to a Southern Baptist Church... :)
